The Opportunity
This leading furniture and homewares retailer is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to be a crucial part of their growing P&C Team, supporting various aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining organisational efficiency and supporting the delivery of their people initiatives.
In this role, you’ll provide administrative support by managing the P&C drive, implementing and administering the HRIS, and ensuring a high level of organisation, security, and compliance. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining and updating employee lifecycle data within HRIS systems, including new starters, changes of status, and terminations.
Additionally, you’ll contribute to recruitment efforts by reviewing and posting vacant positions via platforms like JobAdder and LinkedIn. Your role will also include ensuring compliance with Australian employment legislation, overseeing the P&C Inbox, and replying to and directing messages to the correct contacts.
As a People & Culture Coordinator, you’ll actively support initiatives to boost employee productivity and engagement, contribute to data management and reporting, and maintain the company Org Chart. You’ll be instrumental in coordinating ad-hoc events and supporting social and engagement initiatives for the team and broader business.
We’re looking for someone with a tertiary qualification in Human Resources (highly regarded) and exceptional organisational skills. Previous experience in administration/customer services, particularly within a P&C Team, is preferred. Familiarity with the Fair Work Act and other employment-related regulations, high attention to detail, and intermediate MS Office Skills are essential.
